Natural Variation
All natural materials (granite, marble and other natural stones) supplied are subject to their natural markings, veinings, variations in colour, cracks and vents with the polished surface subject to slight imperfections. These are supplied cramped, stopped or reinforced where necessary and no claim on this account can be made.

Colour
Some materials with high levels of veinings may appear darker or lighter dependant on lighting and the angle at which the material is viewed.

Thicknesses
All thicknesses quoted are nominal and no liability is accepted for reasonable variations of whatsoever nature.

Jointing Unless otherwise specified jointing will be at our discretion to suit material and practical handling. Descriptions Any descriptions of material offered are guidance only and do not imply suitability for any particular purpose. Samples When samples have been submitted exact resemblances of the product supplied to the sample cannot be guaranteed. All customers are welcome to visit our supplier to view all materials available in slab form.

Warranties
No representations, warranties or conditions are given as to the fitness of the material for any purpose of job or use which the purchaser intends for the goods supplied.

Cleaning and Care
All materials are treated with a sealer/stain inhibitor however spillages should be removed as quickly as possible as all natural materials absorb some degree of liquid and can be liable to stains.
Although most granite is extremely hard we advise use of chopping boards and pan stands on kitchen worktops to prevent possible damage.
Marble and some other natural materials are not as hard as granite and should be treated accordingly.
All corners and edges are susceptible to chipping from knocks and should be treated with care.

We recommend that you use the Lithofin Aftercare Kit to maintain a high quality appearance of your natural material and are happy to supply this at your request.
 
Terms and Conditions of Sale
From clients who do not have a trading account with us, we will require a 50% deposit of the total value when an order is placed, and the balance to be paid on fitting / collection until such a time a trading account is opened.
Trade Account customers - 7 days from when the invoice is sent.

Ownership
All materials supplied remain the property of the company until full and final payment has been acknowledged.

Templating and installation
Before either can be carried out we require the following:

Installation All bases to be level and secured. Capable of supporting the weight of the stone (approx. 90kg per M2). In addition we require uncluttered access and working areas. The company reserve the right to make a surcharge at the agreed rate for any aborted trips.

Processing time
The company will endeavour to fulfil its agreed commitments to all our clients, however due to the variations of the materials we use we can only offer an expected time. We take great care in our selection of materials for each client however, when using 100% natural materials, some of these materials may contain slight natural blemishes, colour variations and pitting. We reserve the right to treat, repair and use these materials wherever necessary. We will not accept any liability from any loss what so ever from any delay in delivering our product.
